Abstract expressionism

Looking at artists including Sue Lawty her style of order and weaving inspired me to create a weave myself, using a basic wooden frame using woolen materials.

Life Drawing

A life model 'Brianny' came to model for my first life drawing, although an overwhelming experience i found it was a great success i rely enjoyed this new way of drawing and understanding the natural body. After  while you forget the nakedness of the model and focus on the shapes, curves and formality of the human body.

liverpool trip

Went to visit liverpool's 'Walker gallery', found some interesting bits including Diana Dias-Leao, i found her work inspiring the beauty captured within her work of corset, and dress designs and yet the contrast of the harsh materials used to create these pieces. Whilst at liverpool we visited 'Tate Liverpool' here i found the wrk a great variation to previose as it seemed to contain more modern contempary art including Andy Warhol, Antony Gormley ect.  

Cardboard Structures

Inspiration from Emily Speed and Rachel Whiteread, task; to create a structure from old card board boxes this could have been a creation of any structure. Our structure included a 'feminine' view of the household. Creating a 'garden' and accessories such as chairs, t.v, pictures. ect.
